Alain Peyrot and Steven Weber staffed the Power Line Systems exhibit at the latest CIGRE meeting held in Paris in late August. The main themes of the conference were real time rating, refurbishing and uprating of existing transmission lines. Attendees were primarily interested in our new TOWER and PLS-POLE programs as well as the real time rating capabilities of PLS-CADD. We were gratified to see how many companies were already using PLS-CADD to rate and upgrade their lines.
Alain and Steve are looking forward to the next CIGRE meeting in 2002. We hope to see you in Paris then if not before!
